BEEN AND GONE Posted 17.04.11
Once again Jaffa Cakes Mud Madness was a great success and it is
safe to say this was our best event yet. Thank you to everyone who
helped make the day so enjoyable for staff, spectators and of course
competitors!
Race Director Johnny Davis
commented: "What a great day Mud Madness 2011 was. The weather
matched all the smiling faces and it is really uplifting to see so
many people challenging themselves and literally 'getting stuck in'.
Plans are already in motion for the next Mud Madness and a new
challenge. Thanks to all the sponsors, marshals and Marie Curie, but
especially to the competitors for all your support and generosity."
Anne Hannan from Marie Curie Cancer
Care added: "Mud Madness is a super event because it attracts such a
diverse range of participants and it is such a physical challenge as
well as being a fantastic spectator sport. An excellent day out was
had by all and thank you to all who supported Marie Curie Cancer
Care by raising sponsor money or simply just buying a burger. Money
raised will help us to continue to provide high quality nursing to
people with terminal cancer and other illnesses allowing them to be
cared for at home."
